Course Description :
The course equips the participants with basic competencies in
counselling persons experiencing loss due to death or separation from loved ones, including pets and loss of anything that the person is very much attached to; separation from place of abode or country or separation and loss of job, career or dream.
Training Objectives:
At the end of the training participants will be able to:
- Describe each stage of the counselling process
- Discuss and demonstrate the basic counselling micro skills;
- Describe each stage of crisis and the grief cycle
- Demonstrate selected grief counselling techniques
