Course Description:
This training will focus on home-based activities to build child protection skills in children and safeguarding practices of parents. The interactive sessions will include understanding how children learn and the components of healthy psycho-social development. Practical examples will be shared as well as actual products available. Sessions will be conducted by CPTCSA social workers and joined by an experienced educator.

At the end of the training participants will
- Understand basic healthy child development
- Understand through practice basic developmental practices for learning
- Practice using specific child protection tools for young school-age children
- Develop a draft tool for parents
