This is an advocacy training on prevention of child sexual abuse for the participants to acquire knowledge on the context of child sexual abuse and understand the dynamics of the offender. This training aims on providing the participant enough skills in handling disclosures of child sexual abuse victim and reporting flow.
This learning session provides deep understanding of child sexual abuse especially it’s impact to child victims and identification of 10 major issues of child sexual abuse. Case management approaches and roles of multi disciplinary team are the highlight of this training.
Training on Basic Counseling will present, discuss and role play fundamentals of counseling. From familiarization on counseling jargon, developing basic counseling skills/techniques, incorporating theories in practice and exploring self-help tools which the participants will use first for themselves and then to clients.
